Teacher's Planning

Teachers prepare teaching plans according to the curriculum. Teachers must develop teaching plans to achieve the expected learning objectives. The teaching plan is only for one topic, so teachers must make a teaching plan for each meeting. 

Preparing Lessons and Materials

As a teacher, we are required to prepare everything that is needed when learning takes place, such as lesson plans and materials. Teachers must compile lesson plans properly in accordance with existing guidelines, the lesson plans designed must have clear and directed goals. After the lesson plan, the teacher must prepare any material that will be used. The materials used must be appropriate and fun, so that learning is easily conveyed to students optimally.

During the Teaching 



Ms. Albores starts the lesson by inviting the students to pray, after which she greets the students and asks if they are ready for the lesson and will ask who is absent from the class. Before the lesson begins, an energizer is usually given to the students to get them excited to start the lesson. Next, the teacher will repeat a little of the past material and relate the previous material to the new material to be taught. In the learning process, the teacher occasionally asks questions to students and has discussions. If the material is finished, then the teacher will give quizzes, activities, summaries, and assignments. In the final session, the teacher will again invite students to pray together. 

Measurement and Evaluation

Evaluation can be done by the teacher by asking questions to students in turn. This is done so that the teacher can measure the extent of students' understanding of the material taught. Another thing is done by the teacher giving quizzes to students, students work on 1/4 yellow paper then the students' answers will be corrected together and the scores will be entered into the student assessment table owned by each student in order to find out how consistent or know how to improve student grades in each material. Sometimes, students who get high scores will get rewards from the teacher.

School: General Information and Academic Administration School Profile The University of the Immaculate Conception or UIC began in 1905. UIC is an institution of higher learning administered by the Religiosity of the Virgin Mary in Davao City, Davao del Sur, Philippines.   After my observation, I learned that there are 3 separate buildings, namely the Fr Selga campus (main campus), Bonifacio campus and Bajada campus (basic education). During this program, I stay at the women's dormitory of the Fr. Selga (main campus) campus, together with my colleagues (Emma and Zulfah). While my male colleague (Hadad) stayed at the UIC Hotel in Fr. Selga (main campus).  As for the dormitories, they have a rule where at 9pm you have to be in the dormitory because all gates and doors will be locked. The facilities are quite satisfactory, we even get a separate kitchen to honor us who are Muslim. The distance between the dormitory and the internship site takes about 30 to 40 minutes. My Closing Ceremony

 Unforgettable Closing Ceremony The closing ceremony was held on October 13, 2023, the day before returning to Indonesia. The closing ceremony was held at the UIC Bonifacio campus. In the ceremony, we delivered our messages and impressions, and expressed our gratitude to the University of the Immaculate Conception for accepting, helping, and facilitating us during our internship here. We also performed a musical drama about Indonesian traditional culture, especially the Banjar culture. We performed various cultures such as traditional dances, pencak silat and kuntau performances, and singing folk songs, I performed singing various folk songs from Indonesia. After that, we received certificates as proof that we had completed our internship for approximately 1 month at UIC. The certificate was handed over directly by ma'am Helene and Sir Rene.
