 Teaching Method

Based on my observations, in the learning process, my teacher (Ms. Nora Jovina Albores) uses the Student Center Learning method. In this method, student participation is prioritized such as question and answer and group work. During the learning process, the teacher will always appreciate students by providing motivation such as words of praise and encouragement. 

Learning Materials and Innovation

During class, my cooperative teacher teaches using materials from books and also online teaching materials. The book used is a book entitled "A Walk Through Adolescence". The teacher will use Canva slides (PPT) in presenting the material and Google Classroom in the learning process such as providing material and assignments there. Teachers also add pictures and videos from the internet to help in achieving the learning objectives.

While I observed my Cooperative Teacher (Ms. Nora Jovina Albores) preparing the materials before entering the classroom. She prepares the materials using Canva and teaching materials with pictures and videos.

During the lesson, she will usually give group activity with different types of activity but still in accordance with the material given. The group learning method with discussion will help students to learn cooperation and communication.

Sources of Learning and Technology

My cooperative teacher uses textbooks for the Grade 12 personal development subject in the library for teaching. Other materials can also be obtained from the internet. All materials will be presented through PPT or video.

Authentic Assessment

During my observations, there are several authentic assessments used in class such as question and answer, quizzes, or group presentations. All their grades will be recapitulated at the end of the quarter. The quarterly evaluation is given to evaluate what they have learned from the lesson. This way, the teacher will be able to know their knowledge and can improve what needs to be improved.
